Today I begin my blog because well...it's about time. I begin for several reasons. One, for my sister who has prodded me for the last 4 years to start so she can see pictures of her nieces, as she is living far away (unfortunately now about to move back). Two, for my husband who constantly asks, "When are you going to start writing about our family?" as he shows how simple and easy it is while pointing out all these fun looking blogs in his tech savvy way. Three, as a recording of my girls and our family and the great moments I would hate to forget. Four, as an emotional and spiritual outlet (a mom's work is in need of a little venting and reflection once in awhile). Five, as a venue to try something new, to push my comfort level and extend myself beyond my set skill level. So here we go...
A little background... One of my favorite movies is Life is Beautiful. In the movie every time the main character coincidentally runs in to the woman of his dreams, he endearingly calls out "Buongiorno Principessa!!" Through the movie it becomes a message of love, endearment, hope, and destiny which is what inspired the name of my blog.
After having my 3rd girl, princesses is what our life is about. Three beautiful princesses...Belle Principesse! Three beautiful girls with divine destiny; something great within them waiting to be discovered, put to order, and created. As a mom, I begin to feel intimidated as I think about what my role in this means. I too need to continue to discover, put to order, and create the beautiful women I am to be. No greater teacher than example.
So... with that I begin this blog of our life, our adventures, our experiences, our thoughts as a home full of 4 princesses aspiring to BECOME and the Prince Charming who loves us through it all.
